"Serenity" ist ein eher ruhiger und entspannter Titel, der sich an der Musik früherer Jahrzehnte, primär 1970er-Jahre, orientiert. Das Klavier übernimmt hier die Hauptrolle und wird von Streichern begleitet. Die subtile Unterstützung durch ein Horn verleiht noch etwas Würze. Der Klavierteil ist für zwei Pianos ausgelegt, eines für die Begleitung, eines für die Melodie. Die Melodie ist ganz bewusst einstimmig gehalten und betont - manchmal liegt das Besondere in der Einfachheit. Wie bereits erwähnt, sind die Töne quasi spontan herausgesprudelt, ich habe mir nicht viele Gedanken gemacht - auch das ist oft der Quell des Besonderen.

Mir gefällt das Stück jedenfalls sehr gut. Aber ich möchte nicht von mir auf die Allgemeinheit schließen. Wie üblich... viel freude beim Zuhören!

"Serenity" is a rather calm and relaxed track that is based on the music of earlier decades, primarily the 1970s. The piano takes on the main role here and is accompanied by strings. The subtle support of a horn adds some spice. The piano part is designed for two pianos, one for the accompaniment, one for the melody. The melody is deliberately kept in one voice and emphasized - sometimes the special thing lies in the simplicity. As already mentioned, the melody came out almost spontaneously, I didn't think much about it - that's often the source of something special.

In any case, I like the piece very much. But I don't want to draw conclusions from myself about the general public. As always... happy listening!
