„Emotional Shift“ entstand aus einer Laune heraus, ohne spezielle Idee oder Konzept. Dieser Song ist eher das Produkt von Stimmungen. Das dominante Instrument ist hier ein Klavier. Es wird begleitet von synthetischen Klängen im Hintergrund. Der Hintergrund ist aber nicht weniger wichtig, schafft er doch eine Atmosphäre die dem Klavier den nötigen Raum gibt. Dazu gesellt sich ein dynamisches Schlagzeug. Die Melodie wechselt von einer melancholischer zu energetisch motivierter Stimmung. Ein Wechsel der Gefühle, ein Wechsel der Stimmung. In gewisser Weise spiegelt dies das innere Ungleichgewicht wider, welches ich zu dieser Zeit verspürte, daher auch der Titel.
Wie immer ist Musik auf vielfältige Weise interpretierbar. Daher wünsche ich beim Zuhören wie immer viel Freude :o)

“Emotional Shift” came about on a whim, with no specific idea or concept. This song is more the product of moods. The dominant instrument here is a piano. It is accompanied by synthetic sounds in the background. But the background is no less important, as it creates an atmosphere that gives the piano the space it needs. This is joined by dynamic drums. The melody changes from a melancholic to an energetically motivated mood. A change of feelings, a change of mood. In a way, this reflects the inner imbalance I was feeling at the time, hence the title.
As always, music can be interpreted in many ways. So, as always, I hope you enjoy listening :o)
